Red Tiger Security has completed more than 500 plant-safe assessments and penetration tests of plant control systems worldwide, across energy, water, manufacturing and pipelines, and has trained more than 4,500 people on plant cybersecurity. Its founder is a founding contributor and editor of ISA/IEC 62443 and the early NERC CIP standards.

Jonathan Pollet

Founder & Managing Partner

Pollet has spent more than twenty-five years in industrial cybersecurity, securing live OT and SCADA environments across energy, water, manufacturing, pipelines and other critical infrastructure. He founded Red Tiger Security in 2008 and has led more than five hundred plant-safe assessments and penetration tests worldwide.

Before Red Tiger he founded PlantData Technologies, which he sold to Industrial Defender, staying on as VP of Professional Services and later VP of Sales as it scaled globally. He is a founding contributor and editor of ISA/IEC 62443 and the early NERC CIP standards, has trained more than 4,500 professionals on OT security, and holds the CISSP, CAP and PCIP.

At Red Tiger he owns the methodology, develops the service packages with Curtis, and reviews the work before release.

Steve Curtis

Managing Partner

Curtis has spent twenty-five years in cybersecurity, leading security organizations for aerospace, telecommunications and technology companies. Several engagements ran deep into operational technology, manufacturing and field environments.

He led the program to plan, build and operate the OT security operations center for a US–Japan aerospace manufacturing joint venture, a five-year engagement based in Japan. The SOC returned a severity-2 finding in the production control environment on its first day of operation. For one of the largest telecommunications operators in the United States he worked across assessment, architecture and testing of the field network, the equipment on poles and in cabinets. He has run security testing programs for OT equipment bound for regulated environments.

He served as a cybersecurity board advisor to one of the world's largest privately held aerospace companies and is an active board member of SDG Corporation, a cybersecurity services firm. At Accenture he was global managing director for cybersecurity across communications, technology and aerospace, a practice of roughly 1,800 people in more than twenty countries. At Red Tiger he develops the service packages with Pollet and runs delivery.

What we do

Set prices, three steps, done remotely.

For water and wastewater systems: a checkup priced by the size of the system, from $2,900; an industrial firewall at each plant, from $2,500 a plant; and yearly coverage at $4,500 a plant. For waterfront facilities under the Coast Guard rule: the full compliance file, ready before the July 2027 deadline.

Most of the work happens remotely, with your own people or a certified local provider as the hands on site. Every report is reviewed by a senior engineer before it goes out.
